Emotional Intelligence
To help you accept and overcome grief
Emotions are part of our daily lives and influence our actions and choices. But many of us are overwhelmed by them, sometimes losing control in certain situations.
Developing the Right Reflexes in Crisis Situations
Emotional intelligence may seem surprising because this concept blends two usually opposing notions: intelligence and emotion. Intelligence here refers to our ability to reason and analyze, unlike emotions, which are defined as primary reactions that are difficult to control in certain situations.
However, certain reflexes can help us manage them:
-
Don't remain alone; seek professional support. Many practitioners can help, such as your primary care physician or a psychologist.
-
Become aware of your traumas and painful life events. I will guide you in bringing them to the surface and identifying the date of the event.
-
The goal is not to dwell on the past, but to work on the symbolic or real healing of the problem, to take action and move forward.
-
Release the negative energies from your body to go beyond resilience. The aim is not only to overcome the trauma but to achieve complete healing, to regain lost energy. Indeed, we accumulate traumas from the beginning of our lives, and all the incidents we experience since childhood affect our vital energy, our soul, and our consciousness.
Quote :
"Whether we steal someone's wallet, or have our wallet stolen, we are affected in the same way, and this translates into a frozen part of ourselves, a loss of energy, but which we can fortunately easily recover once we have identified the causes of the incident and symbolically or literally repaired its effects."
-
Harmonize your chakras to address the invisible causes of your unease. Uncovering causal links allows you to find and overcome the origins of illness: by finding the causes, you heal the effects.
-
Work on repairing your various emotional bodies. Your physical body is surrounded by energy: your aura. It comprises several layers, called subtle bodies, which can be unbalanced by emotions that are too intense or difficult to manage.
-
Practice heart coherence regularly. This breathing exercise helps recenter your emotions and has a beneficial effect on stress. Monitoring heart coherence after a Reiki or bioenergetic session allows you to measure its benefits scientifically, with the help of software.
-
Practice Reiki for deep relaxation. This holistic treatment improves health by raising our level of consciousness and our vibrational energy.
-
Adopt Nonviolent Communication (NVC). It fosters an atmosphere of trust and solidarity. (What is Nonviolent Communication?)
-
Take preventative action to avoid any need for "fixing" by adopting a healthier lifestyle: sports, meditation, yoga, gardening, sophrology…
Defining your own emotional skills allows you to choose the most appropriate behavior rather than reacting spontaneously to a given situation.
Emotional intelligence opens another path for accepting and overcoming grief, whether it's related to the loss of a loved one, a separation, or a professional setback.
